How it started
Computers have fascinated David for as long as he can remember. Long before he ever studied it, he was already solving IT problems for people around him. Simply because it came naturally to him, and because he enjoyed it.
He built his first websites for local clubs. He then tried developing apps, but quickly realized that enthusiasm alone isn't enough: you need the right knowledge to truly do things well. That insight was the push he needed to take it seriously.
He started the Graduate Programme in Programming, took additional courses and began systematically reading IT books, not to hang a diploma on the wall, but to genuinely become broadly skilled. AI, data science, data visualization, security, SEO: David goes for depth across multiple areas at once.
Off screen
David plays padel, does calisthenics and runs. Goals? Finishing a marathon. Not because it's easy, but precisely because it isn't.
At home he has a garden where he grows his own plants, young trees and fruit crops. There's something satisfying about a project that grows, that you follow along with, and that eventually delivers something, whether that's code or a pear tree.
He also enjoys reading about how the IT industry became what it is today. The history of technology says a lot about where we're heading. And David doesn't want to be left behind.
